Important Information

YOUR PRIVACY IS OUR PRIORITY
At Brookmont Capital, we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information. We have adopted these Privacy Policies so that you will know what personal information about you we collect, how we treat it, with whom we share it, and how we protect it. These Privacy Policies apply to all current and former customers of Brookmont Capital.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In the normal course of business, we collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, including:

  • Information we receive from you on applications and other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, marital status, employment, assets and income;
  • Information we receive (either directly or via third-party service providers) from our clearing firm, mutual fund companies, insurance companies, and other product sponsors about your accounts and your transactions; and
  • Information we receive from government agencies, consumer information reporting services, and other third parties we consult to verify your identity, employment, social security number, address, financial information, and credit information.

THE USA PATRIOT ACT AND YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. When you open an account, we are required to obtain your name, date of birth, address, and identification number (for U.S. citizens, social security number or employer identification number). For non-U.S. citizens without a social security number or employer identification number, we must obtain your passport number and country of issuance, or alien identification card number, or other government-issued identification showing nationality, residence, and a photograph of you. We are also required to obtain a copy of (or record pertinent information from) your driver's license or other identifying documents. If you don't provide the information requested or your identity can't be verified, we may not be able to open an account or carry out transactions for you.

INFORMATION WE SHARE WITH OTHERS
We share your personal information with our Representatives. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties, except to carry out your instructions, to create or maintain records used in our business, to service your account, to perform our responsibilities under joint marketing agreements with certain financial institutions (as explained below), or as required or permitted by law. For example, if you direct us to purchase shares from a mutual fund company, we will disclose your personal information to the mutual fund. Or, if you open an account through us with our clearing firm, an insurance company, or investment adviser, we will disclose your personal information to them. We will also disclose your information if required to do so by law, government order, or subpoena. Our customers' information may be stored at locations controlled by third parties who provide computer and other services to us or our customers, subject to their agreement not to use the information for purposes unrelated to our business.

Some Brookmont Representatives are located in banks or other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. If your Representative is located in an institution with which we have a joint marketing agreement, we may disclose your personal information to the institution. Additionally, we will provide your name and address to companies we hire to assist us with distributing client statements, newsletters, legal notices, and other mailings.

PROTECTING THE CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We restrict access to your personal information to those employees, Representatives, and permitted third-parties who need to know that information to provide you or us with products or services, or to service your account. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to safeguard your personal information.

OPT OUT OPTION
If you wish for us not to share any non-public information outside Brookmont Capital, you may do so by giving a Brookmont Representative your written instructions not to share such information. Your instructions will remain effective until you revoke such in writing or by applicable law.
